إن من المشاكل التي تحدث في الخفاء والتي تؤثر سلبا على المتعلمين ما يسمى بسلوك التنمر، والذي يؤثر على الطالب نفسه في جميع المجالات وعلى زملائه ومن ثم على النظام المدرسي بشكل عام، وقد أصبحت هذه الظاهرة أكثر شيوعا في ظل عصر العولمة، والانفجار المعرفي وثورة الاتصالات والمعلومات، الأمر الذي يتحتم علينا كمختصين وباحثين ومعلمين وأولياء أمور الاهتمام بهذه المشكلة وتكثيف الدراسات والأبحاث حولها، خاصة وأنها لم تحظى بأهمية الدراسة والبحث في البيئة العربية لتوضيحها وتمييزها عن بعض السلوكيات المضادة للمجتمع، وأيضا لتحديد حجمها وأسبابها وطرق علاجها. وهذا هو هدف هذه الورقة العلمية.
