تناقش هذه الدراسة تًطور الاهتمام اًلأكاديمي بمصطلح الصراع، وًالمفاهيم اًلمرتبطةً بهما كالنزاع، الأزمة، العنف، الإرهاب والحرب والروابط التي تجمع بين هذه المصطلحات والتي قد تتقاطع وتتشابه أحيانا.
