الملخص

المهنة نشاط ومهارة تحقق للإنسان متطلبات استمراره، وتسهم في توسيع نطاق استفادته من الموارد المتاحة، فضلا عن أنها تحدد له موقعه ضمن التدرج الاجتماعي للمجتمع.

ولهذا السبب اكتسبت أهمية كبيرة ضمن الأدبيات السوسيولوجية والاقتصادية، فضلا عن الدراسات النفسية والتربوية حيث تهتم هذه الأخيرة، فيما تهتم، بتأثير المهن على تطور القدرات الذهنية والمهارات المختلفة.

وتسعى هذه الدراسة لاستعراض التراث السوسيولوجي للمهن، ودراسة العوامل المختلفة السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية التي تؤثر في تطورهامن منظور المقاربات السوسيولوجية.
